Caretaker and Ridgerunner Pack-Outs:
The Club places Caretakers and Ridgerunners at popular locations on the AT to teach Leave No Trace knowledge, ethics and skills and provide a daily presence on AT lands. Through this program environmental impact, damage to wildlife habitat and alpine plants, illegal fires, lost persons, hiker injuries and undesirable behavior are mitigated. Please join us in taking down and packing out the Caretaker/Ridgerunner campsites at the close of the 2011 season. Wear sturdy hiking boots, bring a pack with rain gear, water, lunch, a flashlight and extra warm clothes.  Youth under age 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Please respond to confirm you are joining in.
