A 4.9 Mile section of the AT along Nahmakanta Stream in the 100 MIle wilderness will need a new maintainer in 2024.  This is a relatively level section of trail between Mahar Landing Side Trail and The south end of Nahmakanta Lake.  The current maintainer will retire after this season and is offering to have any interested individual or group visit (work) the section with him this season. The current maintainer also maintains the Mahar Landing Side Trail 0.3 mile and Nahmakanta Stream Lean-to and campsite.
