Crew members must arrive by 4:00 PM on Sunday before their session begins. \nAn enthusiastic and experienced staff looks forward to welcoming you and building trails together.   \nCOME WORK WITH US!   \nMAINE TRAIL CREW   \nVOLUNTEER INFORMATION \nWhat You’ll Do: \nProjects focus on rebuilding and restoring heavily impacted trail sections. Crews use rigging equipment and hand tools to construct stone steps\, install waterbars\, improve drainage\, and stabilize steep terrain. \nWho Should Apply?  \nWe welcome individuals 18 years or older from all backgrounds. SUMMARY:Avery Memorial Campsite- Privy Site Prep
DESCRIPTION:The Avery Memorial campsite is getting a new privy\, and we need your help! On July 11-12\, we’ll do the site prep which will involve felling some trees and digging to get a flat surface. Access involves about 4.0 miles of hiking with 2\,670 feet elevation gain. We are looking for people to help haul up tools on just July 18\, and people to stay July 18 and 19 to do the site prep activities.
