Section of trail north of Gulf Hagas – This section starts at the junction of the Gulf Hagas Cut-Off Trail going north for a distance of 2.2 miles. Access to the section is from the Katahdin Iron Works Road. A maintainer is expected to visit their section 2 to 3 times a year, clearing blowdowns, cutting back bushes, painting blazes and cleaning water bars. Onsite training will be provided.
