Side Trail to South Pond to Little Swift River Campsite.
This section is approximately 2.4 miles in length and has a moderate terrain with a gain of about 475 feet. The starting point at South Pond is approximately 2.4 miles from the trailhead at Route 4 near Rangeley Maine. he assignment also includes maintenance of the Little Swift River campsite. The campsite does not have a lean-to but does have an old style pit privy.
