White Cap

This summer we're building new privies at Chairback Gap and Cloud Pond, and need your help! On July 6-7 we'll do the site prep at either Chairback Gap or Cloud Pond (we'll decide as the date nears based on some recon this spring). This will involve felling some trees and digging to get a flat surface. Access to either of these campsites involves at least a couple of miles of hiking with ~1,000 feet of elevation gain and a possible bushwhack.

The plan is for the materials to be helicoptered to these sites on one day during the period August 1-16. We'll build them after that (which privy we do first or second is to-be-determined). If the airlift happens between August 1-9, then we'll start building August 10-11. If not, the builds will be pushed to the following two weekends.
