The Maine Trail Crew repairs steep, rugged, and degraded sections of the Appalachian Trail, helping to protect and preserve this treasured resource for future generations. Join us for some hands‑on construction fun! We’ll be building, organizing lumber, and packaging materials as we pre‑assemble one of the privies for the 2027 season in Palmyra. This early build is needed because the Rainbow Spring privy will be transported to the campsite by snowmobile during the winter of 2027, ahead of the usual spring pre‑build. |
