The Spaulding Mountain campsite is getting a new privy, and we need your help! On June 6 (rain date June 7) we'll do the site prep which will involve felling some trees and digging to get a flat surface. Access involves about 3.4 miles of hiking with 1,250 feet elevation gain.

Help our trail crew gear up for their next backcountry project! On this single-day trip, we’ll hike into the Holly Brook area with tools and equipment, then set up a base camp for the crew where they'll stay for their multi-day "hitch.". It’s a fun, hands‑on way to experience the behind‑the‑scenes work that makes trail projects possible.

The Maine Trail Crew repairs steep, rugged, and degraded sections of the Appalachian Trail, helping to protect and preserve this treasured resource for future generations. Volunteers (18+) are invited to apply to join our paid crew for one or more of the following sessions: June 29 – July 3; July 6 – July 10; July 13 – July 17; July 20 – July 24; August 3 – August 7 Projects run Monday morning through Thursday or Friday afternoon.
