Projects: - Assemble and Poly inside of 8 under bunk storage bins - Install bunk room shelving - Install Window screens (after cleaning window tracks) - Recaulk bathroom sinks - Install Meeting room shades - Cut and install foam board divider walls in bunk rooms - Sweep attic storage (bring N95 mask) - Create shallow waterbar for drive-thru

  • Privy Pre-Build

    Come help with some construction fun! You can help build, organize lumber, or package materials. We will be pre-building 3 privies in Palmyra- come for one day or both! These privies will be built on-site later this season to replace the existing privies at Avery Memorial, Safford Notch, and Spaulding Mountain campsites.

    Are you new to campsite maintenance? Been at it for a few years, but want a refresher? Or, maybe you've been considering taking on an assignment but want to see what's involved first? Whatever the case, join us at the Wilson Valley Campsite on May 30 (rain date May 31) for a workshop designed for campsite maintainers! We'll cover the 11 essential steps of a maintenance visit and even tackle a few tasks together.

    The Spaulding Mountain campsite is getting a new privy, and we need your help! On June 6 (rain date June 7) we'll do the site prep which will involve felling some trees and digging to get a flat surface. Access involves about 3.4 miles of hiking with 1,250 feet elevation gain.

On this single-day trip, we’ll hike into the Holly Brook area with tools and equipment, then set up a base camp for the crew where they'll stay for their multi-day "hitch.". It’s a fun, hands‑on way to experience the behind‑the‑scenes work that makes trail projects possible.
